Montmartre & the Sacré Coeur

Maybe one of the most -if not the most- authentical neighborhood in Paris. Montmartre's history is tightly linked with art, seing that it had welcomed many famous painters such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Renoir... Montmartre has, since then, earned the reputation of being the symbolism of a french bohemian lifestyle. Today the neighborhood welcomes thousands of visitors each year and you are most likely to see french painters selling their art. And while you're at it, you might as well want to visit La Basilique du Sacré Coeur. Maybe one of the most famous catholic churches in Paris, it welcomes each year nearly 11 billion visitors. It took nearly 50 years to finish its construction. Now the Basilique is part of Paris skyline nearly as much as the Eiffel Tower.
